An annotated table of 304 publications (2013–2026) using the ImageJ/Fiji plugin OrientationJ (Daniel Sage, Biomedical Imaging Group, EPFL) — with the sentence from each paper describing how it was used.

OrientationJ is a series of ImageJ/Fiji plugins written by Daniel Sage at the Biomedical Imaging Group (BIG), EPFL, Switzerland. It characterizes the local orientation and isotropy (coherency) of structures in an image by evaluating the gradient structure tensor in a local neighborhood, and offers color-coded orientation maps, orientation distributions (histograms), vector fields, dominant-direction and ROI measurements, and Harris-corner keypoint detection.
